Zinc Ingot is merely Zinc in solid form, usually bars. Zinc is most commonly used to galvanize various metals to fight corrosion. Zinc is often combined with copper to create the popular alloy: brass. It is used in hot dip galvanizing, die castings, electroplating anodes, photo engraving plates, zinc oxide, zinc plates, sacrificial anodes, batteries, communication equipment, hardware, musical instrument, water valves, roofing and electrical uses.
Zinc Scrap consists of clean dry zinc scrap, such as sheets, jar lids, clean unalloyed castings and anti-corrosion plates. Borings and turnings are not acceptable. Material is not excessively corroded or oxidized. All foreign attachments and extraneous materials are deductible.
