CC ROD / WIRE

Copper’s high electrical conductivity, ductility and tensile strength makes it an ideal metal in the wire and cable industry. Copper rod is considered suitable for power and communication cables, winding wires, strips for power and distribution for transformers, magnet wires, and zari manufacturing. Their excellent surface finish makes them suitable for processing to enamelled, coated and plated wires. They are available in diameters of 8, 11, 12.5, 16 and 19mm.

CATHODE

Copper Cathode is known for high purity and consistent quality. Copper cathodes are square shaped, with 99.99 percent copper purity level (LME A Grade). Copper cathodes are used in the manufacturing of continuous copper rods for the wire, cable and transformer industries, copper tubes, brass, other extruded copper products for consumer durable goods and other applications in the form of alloys, sheets and chemicals.

INGOTS

Copper ingots are smelted in a furnace from copper cathodes and scraps. Copper ingots are casted into wire rod, busbar, as well as other machined shapes, nanoparticles electroplating, hot dipping coatings and in the form of chemical solutions.

FLAT / BUSBAR

Copper Flat Bars are available in forged or hot/cold rolled finish in different dimensions. These precisions finished flat bars are available on finch conditions, including hard, half-hard and soft options, thus providing best end usage for electrical purposes. They are used in transformer connectors, earthing protection in electrical panels, power transmission equipment and control panels.

TUBES

The precision manufactured Copper Tubes offered by us find usage in a variety of applications. These copper tubes are resistant to corrosion, feature superior mechanical strength, provide for low-pressure loss and are also easy in installation, thus helping in achieving improved cost-effectiveness as compared with other metals. The deoxidized copper is also well suited to welding and brazing. Consumer durables such as air conditioners and refrigerators utilize copper tubes as heat exchangers because of its excellent thermal conductivity and heat dissipation property. It is used in microprocessors, heat sinks and wiring contacts in mobile phones.

MILLBERRY SCRAP

Copper Millberry defined as No. 1 copper wire - old, thick electrical cable. It consists of clean, untinned, uncoated, unalloyed copper wire and cable, not smaller than No.16 B & S wire gauge, free of burnt wire which is brittle. Hydraulically briquetted copper subject to agreement.

BARE WIRE SCRAP

Copper Bare Wire Scrap consists of uncoated, unalloyed and is without any insulation and has a shine to it without any oil or shellac on the outside. Bare Bright Wire is free from paint and heavy corrosion. The colour of the wire is bright faint orange. It is used for variety of purposes such as castings, chemicals, forged parts, foundry, sheets and tubes.

HEAVY SCRAP

Copper Heavy scrap shall consist of clean unalloyed copper solids and is uncoated. It may include copper clippings, punching, busbar, commutator segments which shall be clean from any attachments and coatings.

ARMATURE / ENAMELLED WIRE SCRAP

Copper Armature or Enamelled Wire Scrap consists of unalloyed and with enamelled insulation has a shine to it without any oil or shellac on the outside. It is used for variety of purposes such as castings, forged parts, foundry, sheets and tubes.
